In this video, Dr. Dhiraj Bhatia is speaking on the introduction to DNA nanotechnology, the current landscape in healthcare sectors, and the emerging role in COVID-19 diagnosis and vaccine development. He has explained DNA origami and how we can use DNA nanodevices for the development of biosensors, bioimaging, and therapeutics. Special attention is given towards COVID-19 therapeutics interventions.

About the Speaker
Dr. Dhiraj Bhatia is an Assistant Professor at IIT Gandhinagar in the Biological Engineering Department. His area of the research is DNA Nanotechnology to probe and program cellular pathways and biomedical applications. He is trying to merge the complex programmability of DNA nanotechnology with the structural and functional diversity of other biomolecules.
