About the Speaker
A renowned immunologist, a virologist in India, and a senior staff scientist at the National Institute of Immunology (Nii) New Delhi, India. The broad theme of his research involves understanding the regulatory role of NF-KappaB signaling in immunity and human ailments, leading to the development of novel therapeutic intervention strategies. He is the recipient of the two highest Indian Biology awards – Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 2019 and National Bioscience Award for Career Development in 2017.
